Private Lessons
Private lessons are 45 minutes in length. Students will practice the rules of driving as outlined in the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Driver’s Manual to include 3 point turns and parallel parking.
NY 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Class
The New York Pre-licensing class is required by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Upon completion of the class, participants receive their MV-278 certificate which allows you to register for a NYS road test.
Rental of Vehicle for Road Test
When a student purchases a driving package, we include the use of our vehicle for the road test. Our office will work with the student to schedule a road test date. The day of the test, an instructor will pick you up in a Branch's car and take you to your road test.
Defensive Driving Class
Our instructors are certified through the Empire Safety Council for Defensive Driving. You can save up to 10% on your auto insurance and reduce up to 4 points on your driving record after completion of the class. This class is 6 hours in length. Since 2009, we have been awarded the "Best Agency Performance" for our outstanding training efforts, the number of customers trained, and the quality of service delivered to our community.
Highway Lesson
The highway lesson is 60 minutes. Students will practice on and off ramps, lane change and passing other vehicles. Students must have a valid driver’s license or the recommendation of their Branch’s driving instructor in order to take a highway lesson.
